Dustbuster

On my about me page, I wrote that I love my dustbuster. One of my friends saw that and asked me about it in an email. Here was my reply:

It’s one of my favorite things in the whole world!!! I use it as a dustpan after I sweep. I use it to clean out the couch daily (ok, not daily, but regularly!) I use it under the table daily! I don’t know what I did before it. Here is the one I bought, but it’s not available anymore. If I was going to buy another today online, I’d go for either this one or this one. I’d probably go with the non-HEPA filter just because I don’t have an allergy problem and it’s cheaper.

I also bought this one at Target for my dad’s house when I was there because I was going crazy without mine. I wouldn’t recommend it. It was only 7.5 volts – not nearly powerful enough to pick up all the dropped goldfish, crushed crackers, and dried spaghetti (let it dry for a while before you vacuum it up after dinner!).

Brian’s co-worker bought this one after she saw mine. It was okay, but after using mine with the higher voltage I would not go back.

When I was putting my email together for her, I was actually wishing mine was in poorer shape so that I could buy another one! Yeah, it makes me sound a little crazy and obsessed, but we don’t have a dog like many of our friends do, so we have to clean up all our toddler messes. It works great on dried play dough and other things that your dog won’t eat, so GO GET ONE!

Laundry

Just a quick note to say WOW!  We sure can generate a lot of laundry.  I don’t want to imagine what it’s going to be like in another few years when the boys are changing clothes a couple times a day because they’re completely muddy or whatever else!

It’s 1:05, and I’ve just finished folding the last load.  Off to bed!
